Albertson’s food company recalled Ready meals seafood due to undeclared allergens Albertsons Companies announced that it is extending its voluntary recall scheduled for July 19, 2022. Due to allergies not disclosed on the ingredient labels, Ready Meals seafood foods are disclaimed. The recall was started after an internal technical evaluation discovered missing allergen-containing substances. It is being carried out in cooperation with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. Pizza John’s 156000 pounds pepperoni pizza recall The US Department of Agriculture (USDA) has just notified Pizza John’s third pizza recall in recent weeks after learning the manufacturer created the products at a facility that was not subject to a federal inspection. Kraft Heinz recalls thousands of Capri Sun pouches over cleaning solution contamination. Kraft Heinz issued a voluntary recall of more than 5,700 cartons of Wild Cherry flavored Capri Sun drinks that were contaminated with cleaning solutions used on food processing equipment, the company announced in a statement Friday. The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) is issuing a public health alert due to concerns that the chicken breast component of ready-to-eat (RTE) chicken breast meal kits may contain wheat and soy, known allergens, which are not declared on the product labels. FSIS is issuing this public health alert to ensure that consumers are aware that these products should not be consumed.
