Consumer concerns on safety of cell based food-FAO-WHO webinar

A milestone document titled “Food safety aspects of cell-based food” was released by the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO).

As an alleged sustainable alternative to the traditional livestock agricultural system, cell-based food production, which is the field of growing animal agricultural products directly from cell cultures, has been studied. The need to address one of the most crucial consumer concerns, food safety is important also Many people working in the food industry are looking for ways to increase the availability of sources of alternative proteins that are both nutrient-dense and environmentally responsible.
