Cascade International Food has recalled 35,000 pounds of Fresh Organic Freezer Strawberries due to hepatitis A contamination. As of June 13, the outbreak had infected nine people in three states. No fatalities have been noted. People with illnesses live in Washington, Oregon, and California. The recall was started on 25^th May 2023 and is still ongoing.
