White Fudge Animal Cookies Recalled Due to Metal Pieces
The 44 oz Market Pantry White Fudge Animal Cookies are being voluntarily recalled by D. F. Stauffer Biscuit Co., Inc. because they might contain metal. The product is packaged in a bear-shaped transparent plastic jug. Only the Best By Date, Lot Numbers, and time stamps that are printed on the bear jug’s rear side below the nutritional information are subject to the recall.
No other items or lots are impacted. When metal (wire) was discovered inside some of the cookies, the recall was started. Large, hard, sharp, and foreign things in food are more likely to cause serious injury or dental damage. Smaller, flexible, blunt, and flexible foreign bodies found in food are more prone to cause minor wounds such momentary choking or tiny gastrointestinal lacerations. Customers who bought the recalled product are asked to cease using it and return it to the store where they bought it for a complete refund.
