The recalled goods have the USDA mark of inspection with the establishment number “P 9185” inside. Retail outlets in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, and North Carolina received delivery of these products.
When the establishment informed FSIS that it had received consumer complaints about thin blue plastic being embedded inside the pork and chicken sausage product, the issue was identified. No verifiable complaints of negative effects linked to the intake of these goods have been made. Anyone worried about a wound or disease should speak with a medical professional.
The FSIS is worried about a product that might be in consumers’ refrigerators. You should discard these items or take them back to the store where you bought them. FSIS regularly performs recall effectiveness checks to ensure that recalling companies notify their clients of the recall and that measures are taken to make sure the product is no longer available to consumers.
