Starbucks Vanilla Espresso drink was recalled by PepsiCo over metal fragments in the product.

 

Since the last Starbucks drink recalls a few months ago, the Vanilla Espresso Triple Shot beverages are currently being subject to similar action. The drinks may include metal pieces, which is why PepsiCo, the company that owns Starbucks, started the recall. Suspected contamination by foreign material, specifically metal pieces, has prompted PepsiCo Inc to recall a number of Starbucks Vanilla Espresso Triple Shot drinks. Products subject to recall were sold in Arkansas, Arizona, Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Oklahoma, and Texas. The recall began on August 15 and is still in progress.

Product Description: Starbucks Vanilla Espresso Triple Shot, 15 oz, 12 bottles per case.

Product quantity: 221 cases

Recall number: F-1724-2022

Customers who bought the recalled product are asked to cease using it and return it to the store where they bought it. Foodborne foreign objects that are hard and pointy are likely to cause significant damage or tooth harm.
