The CF and J&O sandwiches have item numbers 79616 and 79615, respectively, while the S&S sandwich has item number 84408. These products were distributed across six states: Kentucky, Illinois, Indiana, Missouri, Ohio, and Tennessee.
Listeria monocytogenes can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in vulnerable groups, including young children, the elderly, and people with weakened immune systems. While healthy individuals may experience short-term symptoms like high fever, nausea, and diarrhea, Listeria poses a significant risk to pregnant women, potentially leading to miscarriages or stillbirths.
