Riviera Farms Baby Spinach was recalled in Australia. The product has been sold at Costco Wholesale in NSW, ACT, and VIC. The recall is due to the possibility of contamination with hazardous plant material. Consumption of food containing hazardous plant material may result in illness.
A batch of spinach is considered to have accidental contamination which caused toxic reactions in nine people in Sydney. Riviera Farms spinach purchased at massive wholesaler Costco was the source of potential food-related toxic reaction.
Dizziness, hallucinations, a fast heartbeat, and impaired vision are all side effects of consuming an impacted product.
