• Great Value Almond Beverage Original (1.89 L, UPC 6 81131 34209 4),
• Great Value Almond Beverage Vanilla (1.89 L, UPC 6 81131 34210 0), all with best before dates up to and including October 4, 2024, and product codes containing 7825.

Similarly, Silk products being recalled are

• Almond & Coconut Unsweetened (1.89 L, UPC 0 25293 00250 0),
• Almond Original (1.89 L, UPC 0 25293 00100 8),
• Almond Dark Chocolate (1.89 L, UPC 0 25293 00135 0),
• Almond Unsweetened (1.89 L, UPC 0 25293 00150 3),
• Almond Unsweetened Vanilla (1.89 L, UPC 0 25293 00188 6),

All with best before dates up to and including October 4, 2024, and product codes containing 7825.

Health Risk

Listeria monocytogenes can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, frail or elderly people, and others with weakened immune systems. Healthy individuals may suffer only short-term symptoms such as high fever, severe headache, stiffness, nausea, abdominal pain, and diarrhea. Listeria infection can cause miscarriages and stillbirths among pregnant women.

Consumer Advice

Consumers should check their refrigerators for the affected products. The recalled products should not be consumed, and can be returned to the place of purchase for a full refund. There have been no reports of illness associated with the consumption of these products to date.
