Organic Hulled and Unhulled Tahini has been recalled in NZ due to microbial contamination.
Ceres Enterprises recalled its Ceres Organics brand Organic Hulled and Unhulled Tahini due to the possibility of Salmonella contamination. The products were imported from Turkey but were mislabeled as being from Mexico or Israel. The products are exported to Australia, Fiji, Hong Kong, New Caledonia, the Philippines, Rarotonga, Tahiti, and Vanuatu.
