Nestlé USA has announced a voluntary recall of a limited quantity of Lean Cuisine® and STOUFFER’S® frozen meals due to the potential presence of wood-like material in certain products. This recall is being conducted out of an abundance of caution after receiving consumer reports, including one potential choking incident.

These products were manufactured between August 2024 and March 2025 and distributed at major retailers across the U.S. between September 2024 and March 2025.
The recall has been issued due to the possible presence of wood-like material in the affected products. While the issue is believed to be isolated, Nestlé USA is actively investigating the source of the contamination.
Consuming food contaminated with foreign materials such as wood can pose a choking hazard and cause injuries to the mouth, throat, or digestive system. While there has been one reported choking incident, no other health-related issues have been confirmed.
