Davis Trading Company Ltd has issued an urgent recall for its Essente brand Mixed Nuts (250g) due to the presence of an undeclared tree nut allergen—hazelnuts. The recall affects all batches and dates of the product.

The mixed nuts, packaged in 250g plastic bags, were sold at two Davis Trading locations:

• Davis Trading Wellington, 20 Te Puni Street, Petone, Lower Hutt
• Davis Food Ingredients Palmerston North Shop, 315 Main St, Palmerston North

Consumers who have a tree nut (hazelnut) allergy are advised not to consume this product. If you have purchased this product and are allergic to hazelnuts, you should return it to the retailer for a full refund. If you have consumed the product and have concerns about your health, seek medical advice immediately.

Davis Trading Company Ltd emphasizes that no other Essente brand products are affected by this recall.
