Botulism symptoms vary depending on the route of exposure, but they normally appear between a few hours to several days of exposure. The common symptoms include A change in voice tone, facial paralysis, unresponsive or fixed pupils, difficulty swallowing, drooping eyelids, blurred or double vision, difficulties speaking, including slurred speech, and difficulty speaking. Children who have foodborne botulism may experience paralysis, trouble swallowing, impaired speech, and widespread weakness.
