Haagen-Dazs Duo Vanilla Crunch Collection Ice Cream Recall due to the presence of unauthorized Pesticide Ethylene Oxide.

Häagen-Dazs Duo Vanilla Crunch Collection

The presence of an unauthorized pesticide has led to the recall of a specific batch of Häagen-Dazs ice cream, according to the Food Safety Authority of Ireland. According to the FSAI, the ice cream from the Häagen-Dazs Duo Vanilla Crunch Collection in the aforementioned batch is being recalled because it contains an illegal pesticide called ethylene oxide.

Product details:

Product name: Haagen-Dazs Duo Vanilla Crunch

Pack size: 4*95 ml

Best before: 23.03.2023

Due to the presence of the prohibited pesticide ethylene oxide, the ice cream from the aforementioned batch of Häagen-Dazs Duo Vanilla Crunch Collection is being recalled. A pesticide called ethylene oxide is accepted for usage in other nations outside of the EU but is not allowed in foods sold in the EU. Although consuming the contaminated goods may not immediately endanger one’s health, consuming ethylene oxide-infected food over an extended period of time does increase the risk. As a result, ethylene oxide exposure must be kept to a minimum. In stores that receive the involved batch, recall warnings will be posted at the point of sale.
