Baixiang Instant Noodles Recalled Due to Undeclared Allergen

Treasure Trading Limited is recalling two popular instant noodle products, Baixiang brand Artificial Chicken Soup Flavor and Baixiang brand Artificial Pork Bone Soup Flavor Instant Noodles, due to the presence of an undeclared allergen, peanut. This recall affects all batches and all dates of these products where peanut is not declared on the label.

Affected Products:

  • Baixiang brand Artificial Chicken Soup Flavor Instant Noodle Packet (555g – 5x 111g Package)
  • Baixiang brand Artificial Chicken Soup Flavor Instant Noodle Bowl (107g)
  • Baixiang brand Artificial Pork Bone Soup Flavor Instant Noodle Packet (565g – 5x 113g Package)
  • Baixiang brand Artificial Pork Bone Soup Flavor Instant Noodle Bowl (108g)

Product Details:

  • Product Type: Instant Noodles
  • Package Size and Description: Sold in plastic packages containing 5 individual packets and in individual plastic bowls.
  • Distribution: The products are imported from China and sold online and at selected Asian Grocery stores throughout New Zealand. They have not been re-exported.
  • Notes: This recall does not affect any other Baixiang brand products.

Consumer Information:

Consumers who have purchased these products are advised not to consume them due to the risk of allergic reactions for individuals with peanut allergies.
