Undeclared allergens: According to regulatory bodies in many nations, including the United States, many food recalls are caused by unidentified allergens in commercial food products. For the safety of consumers with food allergies, accurate allergy labelling procedures are crucial.  One of the leading causes of food recalls is an undeclared major food allergy, which occurs when a food allergen is present in a product but not listed on the food label.

Due to suspected undeclared Gluten and Wheat, two known allergens, sources of dietary intolerance, and potential triggers of Anaphylaxis, a serious health and safety hazard requiring immediate medical intervention to reduce pain and suffering as well as prevent life-altering injury or death, Chuang’s Company is recalling specific batch/lots of Delizia branded Vegetarian Ham products from the Canadian market.  The recalled item was sold in Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, and Ontario. You shouldn’t serve or eat the recalled vegetarian ham items mentioned above as a result of this identified issue. Return the item to the place where you bought it for a full refund.
