Cricket Creek Farm is expanding its recall of Sophelise and Tobasi cheeses due to potential Listeria monocytogenes contamination. It includes one lot of Berkshire Bloom and one lot of Feta cheese because pasteurization records did not show the heating element reached the required temperature.

The cheeses Sophelise, Tobasi, Feta, and Berkshire Bloom were sold in restaurants and farmers markets as well as at Wild Oats in Williamstown, Massachusetts; Provisions Williamstown in Williamstown, Massachusetts; Wells Provisions in Charlemont, Massachusetts; McEnroe Organic Farm Market in Millerton, New York; and New Lebanon Farmers Market in New Lebanon, New York.

To date, one hospitalization for Listeria monocytogenes has been linked to Sophelise cheese. Additionally, it was discovered that Listeria monocytogenes was present in three batches of Tobasi cheese.
