Reason for Recall:

Possible contamination with Listeria monocytogenes.

Food Safety Hazard:

Listeria infection can cause mild flu-like symptoms or gastrointestinal symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea. In vulnerable groups like pregnant women, infants, and immunocompromised individuals, the infection can lead to severe complications. The incubation period can range from 3 days to 70 days, with an average of 3 weeks.

What to Do:

  • Retailers: Remove the affected batches from sale and display recall notices at the point of sale.
  • Consumers: Do NOT consume these products. Return them to the store for a full refund. If you have health concerns, contact your healthcare provider immediately.
