Biltmore Smoked Sockeye Salmon Product has been recalled in the USA due to microbial contamination.

Due to the presence of Listeria monocytogenes, Seven Seas International USA has voluntarily recalled 295 cases of Biltmore Smoked Sockeye Salmon. This recall only applies to packages that were sold before March 14, 2023, and that have the lot code R4058 printed on the clear plastic film that surrounds the product.

Consumer Advice:

Do not consume the aforementioned product. If you have consumed and have any concerns about your health, seek medical attention. Infections brought on by Listeria monocytogenes can be fatal in young children, the elderly, and those with compromised immune systems. Additionally, it can result in stillbirths and miscarriages in expectant mothers.
