Individuals with mustard allergies or sensitivities may experience serious or life-threatening allergic reactions if they consume the affected products. The recalled items have been distributed in Alberta, British Columbia, Ontario, Quebec, and possibly other provinces and territories.

The affected products include Soo Curry Flavoured Beef Jerky (85 g) with UPC 0 65717 32614 0, as well as Soo Satay Beef Jerky, which comes in multiple sizes: 85 g (UPC 0 65717 44590 2), 170 g (UPC 0 65717 48430 7), and 454 g (UPC 0 65717 45475 1). All recalled batches are those where mustard is not declared on the label.

Reason for Recall:

The affected products contain mustard, an allergen not declared on the label. Consumption of these products by individuals allergic to mustard can lead to severe allergic reactions, including:

• Hives
• Swelling of the face, mouth, or throat
• Difficulty breathing
• Anaphylaxis, which can be life-threatening

What Consumers Should Do:

• Check your pantry for the recalled beef jerky, especially if you or a family member has a mustard allergy.
• Do not consume, serve, sell, or distribute the recalled products.
