Farro Fresh Food Ltd has issued a recall for specific batches of its Farro Kitchen brand Beef & Black Bean Enchiladas (960g). The recall was initiated due to the presence of an undeclared allergen, fish, which poses a health risk to individuals with fish allergies.
This recall applies to Farro Kitchen brand Beef & Black Bean Enchiladas sold in 960g aluminium trays with plastic covering and a cardboard sleeve. The affected batches have a best-before date between April 16, 2024, and December 28, 2024.
The product was sold exclusively at Farro Fresh stores across Auckland, including locations in Epsom, Grey Lynn, Mt Eden, Mt Wellington, North Shore, Orakei Bay Village, and Smales Farm. No other Farro Kitchen products are affected by this recall.
People with a fish allergy should avoid consuming the affected product. Those who have already consumed the product and are concerned about their health should seek medical advice immediately. If you are not allergic to fish, this recall does not apply to you.
Customers with a fish allergy are encouraged to return the product to the store of purchase for a full refund.
