Poppy seed is being recalled in Australia by Eumarrah Pty Ltd. The reason for the recall is that hazardous poppy seeds may have entered the food chain and may contain a chemical thebaine.

The product is available for sale in Wholesome House in Mowbray, Nuts About Health in Wynyard, Huon Valley Health Food Pharmacy in Huonville, and Eumarrah outlets in Hobart and Launceston.
