The Hepatitis A virus was discovered, leading to the recall of two quantities of Ardo Fruit berry mix. After eating at a restaurant, ten to fifteen persons in Hungary were taken to the hospital. Subsequent testing by a Hungarian laboratory revealed Hepatitis A in a 2.5-kg bag of the berry mixture. Everyone who was ill has now recovered. All retail establishments selling this item will have point-of-sale notices on display. Hepatitis A is present in this product. Hepatitis A typically causes the following symptoms: fever, nausea, pains in the stomach, diarrhea, dark urine, and jaundice.
