Allergy Alert: Undeclared egg in Candy Corn raises an allergy notice from Arcade Snacks

Due to a potential undeclared egg presence, Arcade Snacks of Auburn, Massachusetts is recalling its 15-ounce Candy Corn packets. Consuming these items puts those who are allergic to eggs at risk for severe or fatal allergic reactions. In Massachusetts and Connecticut, candy corn was distributed at the following stores: Johnson Roadside Farm Market in Swansea, Donelan’s Supermarkets in Massachusetts, Fieldstone Farm Market in Marion, Foodies in Massachusetts, Windfall Market in Falmouth, Massachusetts, and Highland Park Market in Glastonbury, Connecticut.

The product is packaged in a 15-ounce, clear plastic container with a label on the back panel bearing the UPC code 0 18586 00114 4 and the best by date of 3/8/2023.

No illnesses associated with this issue have been documented. After it was revealed that the egg-containing product was sold in packaging that concealed the presence of eggs, the recall was started.
