The 5-ounce boxes of Hammond’s Salted Caramel Cookies are being recalled by Hammond’s Candies of Denver, CO because they might contain undeclared peanuts with UPC -691355 898895. The item number for this item from Hammond is CK15008. No sicknesses have been linked to this issue to date; nevertheless, a label with the recalled product code Best By 6/29/2023 A may be found at the lower-right corner of the back of the box.
The recall was started after a regular product check discovered that a peanut-containing product had been packed and distributed in incorrect packaging, which did not identify the presence of peanuts.
