Salmonella Infection:

Salmonella infections often cause symptoms to appear between 12 and 36 hours after infection, while this can happen anywhere between 6 and 72 hours later. The most typical symptom is frequent, occasionally bloody diarrhoea. Fever, headaches, and pains in the abdomen are possible additional symptoms. Typically, the illness lasts 4 to 7 days. There are times when diarrhoea is so severe that hospitalisation is necessary. A serious sickness is more likely to affect the elderly, young children, and people with weakened immune systems.
