Hokitika, New Zealand – New World Hokitika has issued a recall for specific batches of its Mega Prime Beef Mince and Prime Beef Mince due to the potential presence of foreign matter (green fabric) in the products.

Affected Products:

• New World Hokitika Mega Prime Beef Mince (various weights)
• New World Hokitika Prime Beef Mince (various weights)

Date Marking:

• Packed On: 5 December 2024
• Best Before: 8 December 2024
• The products are sold in clear plastic trays of varying weights.
• The affected products were sold exclusively at New World Hokitika, located at 116 Revell Street, Hokitika.
• These products have not been exported.

Consumer Advice:

Customers are advised to check the date marking on the front sticker of the product packaging. If you have purchased any of the affected products, do not consume them.

While there have been no reported injuries associated with these products, consumers who have concerns about their health after consuming the product should seek medical advice.

The recalled products can be returned to New World Hokitika for a full refund.
