Moti Mahal, a renowned establishment, claims its founder, Kundan Lal Gujral, is the culinary genius behind the delectable curry, tracing its inception back to the 1930s. However, a new contender has entered the arena, as Daryaganj asserts that its family member, Kundan Lal Jaggi, played a crucial role alongside Gujral in birthing the iconic dish, thus vying for a share of the credit.
