Nestlé USA has announced a voluntary recall of a specific batch of NESTLÉ TOLL HOUSE Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough “break and bake” Bars (16.5 oz) due to the potential presence of wood fragments. The recall is being conducted out of an abundance of caution and in coordination with the U.S. Food & Drug Administration (FDA).
The affected products were produced on April 24 and 25, 2023, and are isolated to two batch codes: 311457531K and 311557534K. These products were distributed to various retailers across the United States. No illnesses or injuries related to this issue have been reported.
Consumers who have purchased NESTLÉ TOLL HOUSE Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Bar (16.5 oz) with the specified batch codes are advised not to prepare or consume the product. Instead, they should return the product to the retailer where it was purchased for a replacement or refund.
