Daiso issues an allergy alert in the USA for Tiramisu Twist Cookies due to undeclared almonds and hazelnuts.

The Tiramisu Twist Cookies made by Daiso California LLC in La Mirada, California are being recalled because they contain almonds and hazelnuts, which are not listed as ingredients on the package. The packaging for Tiramisu Twist Biscuits features a huge picture of two cookies in a gold bag. Packages containing the product weigh 3.4 oz (96 g).

Almonds and hazelnuts can cause significant or even fatal allergic reactions in people who are allergic to them. Tiramisu Twist Cookies were available at Daiso locations in California, Washington, Nevada, Texas, New York, and New Jersey. One instance of an allergic reaction to this product has been reported. The product has been taken off store shelves and sales have been halted, according to Daiso California.
