A single lot of the Restaurant Style Italian Dressing sold under the Tuscan Garden brand name is being voluntarily recalled by TreeHouse Foods, Inc. The product is being recalled because some of the bottles may contain Asian Sesame Dressing despite the label identifying it as Restaurant Style Italian Dressing. While the Asian Sesame Dressing product has allergies to soy and wheat, the Restaurant Style Italian Dressing product’s label states that it contains the allergens of egg and dairy.

Consuming this product increases the chance of having a significant or even fatal allergic response for those who are allergic to soy or wheat. After receiving two store-level complaints, TreeHouse Foods identified the problem and hasn’t yet heard of any reports of an allergic reaction brought on by this product. Customers who have bought any of the aforementioned products are asked to discard them or return them to the store where they were bought for a complete refund.
